Bennett was, I think, at his most tolerable for his stuff in 52, with Keith Giffen taking care of his choice of frame and Joe Prado inking his faces int something human. Granted, it was still Bennett and not without its problems, but when the last issue in The Battle Within juxtaposed one bet by him with another by Eddie Barrows, it was obvious. However, when Bennett did one issue of 52 and Barrows did another, the differences weren't quite as huge.
