The Swamp Thing, Alec addresses the Parliament
Written by Allan Moore, I present to you, a scene from Issue #47 “The Parliament of Trees” collected in Swamp Thing Vol. 4 "Murder of Crows"

Last time we saw Alec, we learned that he's going to be John Constantine's trump card against an evil brotherhood, the Brujeria who are trying to take advantage of the Anti-Monitor's crisis to raise but another truly powerful evil entity.

Time is running short and Constantine sends Alec to South America for his final preparation for the oncoming showdown. In South America, Alec is surprised to see a grotto of figures much unlike himself, rooted and unmoving... the Parliament of the Trees.

I find it interesting that there is a giant sized man-thing in the parliament.

John is of course pissed to no end that he had to drag himself in the middle of nowhere just to get some fortune cookie advice.

Next, on Swamp Thing... Showdown! Constantine and Alec vs the Brujeria. The Murder of Crows begins.
