Exactly! The pre-Crisis Amazons were ONLY those on Paradise Island, and the occasional 'rogue' who had also left like Diana (but never really made much sense), but the Antiope addition to the mythos permits all sorts of Amazon and Amazon-related tribes to exist. (Yet another storyline I always thought would have been great for a Donna series to explore, but I see what you mean about more retcons for her.)
