Boo! IT's bad enough that the female gender is an endangered species in teh G.I. Joe universe, but to put one down? Boo!

I don't think Scarlett dies here, 'cos I heard Baroness shot her in the face.

I mean maybe SCarkett is like the GI Jean Grey and dies all the time, but that looks like the kind of thing you live through in comics.

Well, the purpose of the ninja is to flip out and kill people. Scarlett should just be glad he did it, and not the Roman gladiator she stole those arm-pieces from.

She may be able to ward off blows with those things, but they do nothing to prevent her from being tickled unmercifully!

The sad part is, Scarlet is a ninja at this point, too.

Well, that in part seems to trigger her flip out: all the other ninjas have named hooks at the dojo but she doesn't, and she's generally shown as being the weakest ninja of the lot.

. . . this isn't "classic."

Eh, classic in the sense of the original series.

Heh.. and in the next issue Megatron appeared just as the Joes left and she hit the ground. Ah that was so awesome. Though the wound missed all vitals and Scarlet is just being a double agent. To keep an eye on the good Doctor. What was her name? It was crazy.

That would be Dr. Biggles-Jones.

"The best thing since sliced bread when it comes to edged weapons"? But surely that means they would be the ones slicing the bread, right?

...is there a time gap between the first and second pages?

You mean 90s.

Well, maybe proto-90s.
