Actually, I liked it (it was the China part I thought lame) but then, also, I never saw the film.
Matt and Trey, I think, watch way too many mainstream films(and the CRAPPIEST ones, TV as well. Do they know there are other movies?), and frankly as a member of their generation I'm shocked they went to see it. Because Indy did mean something to me as a kid. And I wouldn't give LucasBerg the chance. (shit, the only good film Spielberg has done in forever is MUNICH)
So you know how I keep my memory of Indy alive? By remembering that ALL the sequels to Raiders were crap to one degree or another, and not get taken in again by this one. So I didn't go see it, and won't. Same as the later Star Wars films. Watching just half of the first one killed the love I had of the series as a kid forever. I don't see any of Coppola's remixes of GODFATHER either. I'm fine with the film as it is. After PEARL HARBOR, I realized that life is too short to watch a bad movie, even if you're doing it to mock it.
And frankly, I barely even noticed it was out anyway. Did anyone really go to see it?
