Between this and Magneto making her dance as his "blank-eyed beauty," I've long assumed there was something more weird than mutanthood about that family. In Loeb's ULTIMATES, what bothered me about making it overt, which Millar had pretty much already done, wasn't that--it was the way the Wasp spoke to Captain America about it as though he was all unhip and out of step for finding that a bit weird. Uh, no, Jan, it IS weird. Though it is in character and always has been. These two gots some issues.
Also though: I really love Perez' art on both of them. He's the first one to bring out anything Eastern European in their faces and to actually make them seem like siblings physically.
