Billy's running from a homeless guy, who's been stealing money from him.

Those last two panels always make me giggle. Anyway he heads to the Rock of Eternity and the Wizard tells Billy that he has a sister. Cue the adorable reaction.

He finds Mary and they have a really sweet exchange.

I love the two panels showing Billy's change from protective to loving. Afterwards Mary zapped by lightning when Billy transforms which leads to..

	There cannot be enough good things said about this mini. Sure, it's weird seeing Captain Marvel and Billy Batson side by side, but that can easily be fanwanked aside (like Cap says, time and space are smashed together in the Rock of Eternity, the normal rules do not apply). And when your only complaint is that one thing is weird, you've got no complaints. (Reply to this)

	I also loved that mini. I also liked Jeff Smith's interpretation of Mr. Mind, making him a snake thing instead of a worm. Whenever I read his Mr. Mind, I imagine him having the voice of Maurice LaMarche (Father from Kids Next Door). (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Generally speaking, I prefer Billy Batson to be a LITTLE bit older than this, but really, that's my only complaint. Mary is very believable as a little girl, and I like the bit where Captain Marvel happily munches his hot dog.
