One perfect moment...Empowered Volume #4

I want to preface this post by saying despite love of all things Empowered and most all things damsel-in-distress-y, I'm not really into Empowered as a damsel in distress. The humiliation aspect and (no pun intended) distress it causes her character negates whatever inherent appeal such scenes normally have. So, it's with that in mind that I present the following two pages from Empowered volume 4, which gives Emp her very own O.P.M. scene toward the end. I like these pages because, well, as an aspiring super-villain, I can't think of a much better way to start off a career then by saying, "Hey, thanks for letting me tie you up, it really was inspirational during my personal Iron Man moment and then while I was building my own robot army."

I don't think the kid ever got named in volume 4, but I'm hoping he shows up in volume 5 (coming out next week!!!) or 6.
