This was such a great story. I don't mean to complain, but I kind of wish it had been more influential, honestly. Not in the "meta-commentary" aspect, per se, but more in the "God, why do we get into all this overwrought tragedy?" sense. Not that bad things shouldn't ever happen in comics, that is, but I think Morrison has a line later on that implies that all this death and schadenfreude being considered "more realistic" was just ridiculous.
