Yup. And that's pretty much why I don't like Reed Richards. Oh, some writers can make him tolerable, and even in his arrogance he has decent moments, but nearly everyone else goes "awww" and I go "Jesus, Reed, you dick, why don't you *ask* them what they want to do? Tell them what you think will happen, and let them decide instead of manipulating them."
