Offhand, I can't recall any stories talking about Hercules's 'exploits with male lovers'. I'm not saying you're wrong, mind you, just that I can't think of any. You're probably right about Herc protesting homophobia, but in my opinion, it'd be more likely that he'd be a SUPPORTER of the group, not a member of it. Still, it's your story. It's an interesting concept, actually - superheroes are frequently given the opportunity to talk about their positions on such issues as environmentalism and gun control, but rarely on more sensitive ones, such as abortion and gay rights. It makes you wonder how Thor, for instance, would view the subject - as a god of the Vikings, who were some of the more swaggeringly macho people ever to walk the Earth, would he be for or against gay rights, I wonder?
