Fuck, no one's forcing you to read it. And you obviously can't stand it so much if you took about five minutes to write a lengthy little number about it.
Plus, not everything Casey does is the 'clever, corporate hero' sort of thing. Godland is brilliant, and a nutty little homage to the King. All you're doing is addressing the general problem with most comics writers, that they like to write what they know. Has Bendis produced anything in the past five years that isn't some superhero-conspiracy plot with some real bad action thrown in to wrap it up at the end? Has Millar produced anything that doesn't clearly express his childish glee at blowing things up, making people miserable, and otherwise tearing down great existing characters? No, on both counts.
And at the very least, Casey and Ellis are still entertaining, unlike the two stooges generally directing Marvel's big events, right now.
