Nothing quite like it, and no DC writer who's tried has succeeding in duplicating it. I really can't say what it is. It's not quite surreal, it's not quite superhero, not quite fantasy or sci-fi or horror or adventure, and yet it also manages to be all these things, and like it or don't, it's hard to see what's coming issue to issue. And I don't even remember how many things it led me to read.
