The Metal Men... they're not dentists.
They are, however, high-tech robotic lifeforms powered by scientific fact who fight many a scientific dragon.
And that's just cool.
I get the feeling Marv and Holt are supposed to be references to something. Don't know what, though.
haha. Ray. shrinking... well, probably not THAT Ray, because I'm not sure if he had that funky white dwarf matter yet.
also, no points for guessing how that relationship ends up.
and then there's Will Magnus's presentation on his hypno-flux theory, or SO THAT'S HOW THE METAL MEN DO WHAT THEY DO
while he doesn't get the theory completely working (the responsometer personalities result in the Metal Men not quite willing to transmute themselves), it's still a good enough explanation.
and some very interesting beings make antagonists of themselves, like...
Robot Renegades!<
Death Metal Men!
Magna-Tech, the machine intelligence corporation bent on... insert-corporate-analogying here the human race!
And... this guy!
yeah, he grabbed the Manhunter from the Renegades... because he was manipulating everything. See, he thought the responsometers could help him replicate the macguffin stolen, he claims, from him (to somehow stop Will from creating Metal Men that would destroy the world; that's another plot..)
...said macguffin being, essentially, Will Magnus's original theories... and made by Will's ancestor.
Yeah.
And where he hid it is actually pretty cool...
Oh, and one more dangling threat...
so yeah, check Duncan Rouleau's Metal Men out. it's cool.
