Because YOU asked for it!
John Constantine getting a condom over his banana!

Note to mustache twirling overlords mods, this was given away for free as an 8-pg information pamphlet and in certain issues of Sandman and Constantine.

How many of our mods have mustaches anyway?

And Fortune City ate your post.

All I get are the default "Fortune City web hosting" graphics.

At least one. But only as part of my evil Spock goatee.

This is really too small to read.

Seriously. It's a good thing the banana part was all visual!

I maintain that the proper pixel-width for a standard comic book page is between 700 and 900 pixels. Much smaller than that and I need to use the zoom feature on Opera to reliably read, much larger and I need to apply the fit to width button to not have to sidescroll. This is 410 pixels wide.

In other words, strong agreement.

This was my first introduction to Death. Needless to say, I loved her from the start.

I'm sad to say, but this pamphlet is roughly 60,000 times more useful than anything I've been taught in Sex Ed.

Why is there a tag for nudity? I have Death: The High Cost of Living with this at the end of it but I don't recall anything.

Unless it's just for the whole banana deal, or perhaps the condom, or both.

Will this ever not be awesome?

I mean, sure it's possible, but it's really not probable.

I harbor such an ungodly amount of perverse sexual lust for John Constantine. Damn you! *shakes fist*

*coughs*

Anyway: I loved that last line. "Go home and dispose of your banana peels wisely!" *giggles*

If I had a choice of who got to take me away when I died, I would have an extremely hard time choosing between Gaiman!Death and Pratchett!Death.

How about both?

I can totally see Gaiman's Death and Pratchett's Death hanging out in a coffee shop on their day off, just shooting the breeze.

Hmmm, not so sure about that. Pratchett's Death never struck me as a "shoot the breeze" sort of being. He has no small talk, he's all about "The Duty", which is, of course, one of his more appealing features.

Though if the Death I meet eventually doesn't look like Gaiman's OR Pratchett's, I will be SERIOUSLY bummed.

I dunno, Pratchett's death seems to like going for a curry. 'Like licking a red-hot ice cube'

But as he does it Mort notes, he's not really comfortable about it, he's almost going through the motions because it's what's expected of someone in this position. Like a bachelor uncle who suddenly discover that his nephew is grown up and isn't sure at what level to speak to him. :)
