Okay,
THIS is the reason why I love the 70's. Yes, I know, every decade was the best and worst of times, but it's the psychedelic and boldness that I miss from this age! Check this out!

OMG the bold thick lines *flails with glee*!

I love how Wendy just stands there only to gawk in the last panel. X)
But yeah, seriously, did you see how they designed this heroine? She looks like a humanised My Little Pony!

No need to get SO excited, girl! 0_o

Man, that girl makes me wish I've learned to play the guitar.

Yyyyeah, that doesn't make sense.

And, oh, brace yourselves people. Here comes the famous EPIC ENDING...

Yeah, even though your miracle love hasn't even bothered with you until this very moment; It beats all doubt of getting it on with a celebrity that just wanted to pluck you out of school allofasudden. SURE it's pure and true LOVE. *sighs*

Anyways, hope you enjoyed the insane art and colors!

Edit: AUGH why do I always forget the IJ cut...

No, I think so too!
Eva Habermann (sp?) pulled it off (INCREDIBLY well); even some albinos I met are very alluring. ~_~

What comic is this from?

It's from one of the 70's issues of Marvel's 'Our Love Story'. They vary art styles from time to time. I got like 6 issues and so far the issue with this is the only one with Steranko's art.

Of course, I might have to go on the hunt for some MOAR Steranko then. >D

It goes against all my better sensibilities to love these, but I DO. I love them so much. They're the good crack!

Keep posting them!

Little did she know he was just doing another demonstration for Wendy.

Love how clean this is. Love how the hair is its own character and acts as a background. Love the panel layouts, the random martini glass filled with flours, the colors.

Did I seriously just type flours instead of flowers?

*feels the disappointment of all past English teachers*

Not so much a My Little Pony as Amalthea from The Last Unicorn. It's the billowing white hair and the slightly spindly limbs that do it.

OMG yes you're right. But she hardly seems graceful but more like bubbly than Amalthea (seriously, I gotta get myself to watch that again).

If you're anything like me when watching The Last Unicorn, here's a box of tissues and a cushion to hug.

Hee, leg pop!

But seriously, OMG that's gorgeous.
I'd totally pick Wendy though, over Little Miss My Little Pony. Her eyes are MLP eyes, they really are. It's kind of disturbing.
Plus, Wendy has circular hair. That's more impressive than that bleach job.

Oh god. Artgasm.

Speaking of the 70's I gotta scan some Delta 99 someday.
