Batman "died" killing a god. Jason Todd was revived because a Superboy from a parallel world that no longer exists hit time so hard it shattered which made it so that Jason Todd didn't die, only he did, and so he woke up alive in his grave where he'd been dead for years.
Curing Babs would fit perfectly with those two stories. It would be an incredibly shitty piece of writing that has no place in the Batman books.
Right up to about Identity Crisis, this sort of nonsense was not tolerated in the Batman books. They worked as self-contained stories, which could stand on their own. You might get the occasional crossover or maybe an issue dealing with something like "the sun went out", but you were free to ignore the rest of the DCU for the most part. Major events in Batman's life were determined by what was going on in his own stories, they weren't decided in "event books" out to "change the DCU forever". Garbage like Jason coming back because someone punched time real hard is not something to be encouraged, applauded, or sought after.
