	You know, lots of people have done the old "find a way for the guy to accidentally smack the girl so she gets a black eye" joke (strangely enough), but it's the mark of true crack genius that they went the route of a kangaroo with boxing gloves leaping unnoticed into a convertible and then sneaking out the window. Why - WHY, I ask you - why in the world does Jimmy stay with Lucy? I mean, yes, as the last panel illustrates, she does occasionally give a bit of, er-hum, compensation, shall we say, but the rest of the time, SHE'S A BITCH! She blows him off without the slightest hint of apology, calls him a 'worm' and questions his manliness, yells at him, berates him, accuses him on false pretenses - I mean, where does it END? Is Jimmy a masochist? He must be at least a LITTLE bit of one, 'cause I can't see any other reason why he would continue to go a-courting with such a thoroughgoing cow.
Oh, and I find it endlessly amusing that there is a Jimmy Olsen fan club. If such a thing actually existed, I think I'd join on a trial basis just to see what the meetings were like.
