I wasn't expecting them to make the Dibneys Black Lanterns... 'course, this doesn't show that they are, and maybe the next page will reveal the Lantern's frustration when they won't be able to because they're already busy in the afterlife.

I've been fangasming that Max Lord will come back, and be one of the first to break free, revealing that he was possessed when he was killed/killing. MAKE IT SO.

Oh, good.

Because it could have been Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam. It could have been DC Super Friends. It could have been Tiny Titans. It could even have been a sampler of pages from Wednesday Comics.

It could have been something that an uninformed parent, lured into a comic shop he or she has never visited before by the prospect of "a free comic for the kids" would be pleased to actually give a kid, and the kid might enjoy it and want more such comics.

No danger of that happening here. Instead you offer them a grim exercise in impenetrable continuity porn. Excellent job, DC. Once again you've succeeded in warning off new readers by giving them a realistic idea of what to expect from you.

	IIRC, there were a LOT of people at Hal's funeral. They all did their damnedest to avoid talking about how he went totally crazy, and only talked about the good (i.e. boring) bits of him. RE: Hal's funeral - who's up for sending large amounts of email in Johns' direction and politely directing him towards GL v3 #81 for the funeral itself and GL v3 #101 for the alleged desecration of Hal's memorial statue (performed by Hal himself)?

I can't help giggling at this, because either Johns has not researched his continuity properly or he's writing Hal as whingy on purpose.
