No, see I'm really Grant Morrison, thats reality breaking down. I did it to make the reader expericence it like the character. LOL !

I just want to say, Wonder Man has suffered through some of the most godawful costumes in comics.

Yeah when a red safari jacket is your best look ever, you pretty much costume challenged.

My favourite is the one he's been wearing in Ms. Marvel and his last issues of Mighty Avengers: black spandex with a red W across the chest. Total lack of eye-searing-ness.

I like the red W on black spandex. It's the least horrifying. I also love the sheer ugliness of the original.

usually the costume gives some suggestion as to what the power/ability might be . Seeing that you just go, I have no idea what you trying to say ...

Hey, so you know, I went ahead and fixed up your tags. Looks like we've had a ton of changes now that we can actually add new tags to the community. ;)

Ok Thanks. I guess i'm still missing the boat on tags. Do I put a comma between them ? if I type "chessy John Byrne costumes" does that become a tag ?

Not only is this a great example of early John Byrne art, it's also a good example of the kind of writing that Jim Shooter used to do, before he got too full of himself.

LOVE this issue!

This was one of my favourite comic issues as a kid when I first read it in black and white UK reprint form, but I loved it even more when I finally got to see what the US coloured original was like. And I still love it now. This period of Avengers rocked.

I honestly have never quite got all the Jim Shooter, John Bryne hate that is so rampant these days. Who cares what they were like behind the scenes?...if they were delivering classics like this!

I tend to think in both cases, they are people who don't know when to shut it. They give their opinons a little too freely and that has a polarizing effect.
