	Stephen King published several short story books, and some of the stories dealt with Salem's Lot and Jerusalem's Lot (the original settlement). I LIKED those. Those stories were what got me interested in Salem's Lot. Needless to say, I was disappointed, to say the least. (Reply to this) (Parent)

It's not so much a prank as it is a case of bad timing;
Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Ben just happens to be reading a Stephen King novel when Spidey comes to ask him to take part in another Marvel Team-Up...
Then he swallows his cigar, which, according to Joe Quesada, didn't happen, because Marvel heroes don't use tobacco products.

But why are there ashtrays in Ben's apartment, Joe? Huh? WHY?
