Desperately seeking scans? We have the solution! (Maybe).

Once a month we will have a requests post where members can ask for certain scans to be posted. Other members seeking inspiration can look through the requests and fulfill someone's dream. Posting a request is no guarantee of its being filled, but request posts will be archived so that members can look through comments from previous months and answer them if they so desire.

The most recent request post will be linked to in the community's profile.

I'm not sure what the page count is like for the most recent issues of Green Lantern, but I would love to see a post compiling the stuff we've seen of the Blue Lanterns since they've appeared. Saint Walker and Warth are very cool.

Ooh! Ooh! I'd like to see scans that feature Mister Terrific/Michael Holt. I've read very little with him in it, but he seems like an interesting character and I'd like to get to know him better, or be pointed in the direction of any TPBs which might feature him.

Also! I'd love it if someone could post a few scans that might be helpful in enlightening me (someone whose main knowledge-base for X-Men was the 90s cartoon show) what Rogue has been up to these days.

I want Blue Beetle uncancelled.

I want Bruce Wayne back as Batman, as a smart, clever, competent detective who uses the image of the Bat and the Night to scare criminals and the guilty, but also uses his wealth and influence as Bruce Wayne to support Gotham (and the world) and as a way to showcase his genuinely good side.

I want Barbara Gordon to continue to progress. If she has to put the cowl back on, she wouldn't be Batgirl, maybe Batlady. Or she could just remain Oracle.

I want Tim to remain the lovable dork he always was (he started out as a Dick Grayson fanboy, and there's no such thing as grim'n'gritty Dick Grayson fanboys).

I want Jason Todd, if he must remain alive, to stop being so bloodthirsty.

I want Dick to realize that no, he wouldn't look good in the Batcowl.

I want respect for Cassandra Cain. And Dinah Lance-Queen. And all the wonderful women in comics who keep getting shortchanged for other versions of their costumed identity, or their male counterparts/love-interests.

I want Barry Allen to succeed again as the Flash. I love Wally, too, but Barry deserves a second chance, guys.

I want good things to happen to all the good people.

I want an ongoing Squirrel Girl title, a fun and cute and exciting Squirrel Girl title. And I want it to sell.

I want a new Shining Knight series (Sir Justin, Sir Ystin--Dame Ystin/Justina, whatever). An action packed, chivalrous Shining Knight, that can explore and maybe even lampoon the conventions of Arthurian legend, and compare and contrast with the modern age. And I want it to sell.

I want Steve Rogers back.

I want Booster Gold and Nova and other less-than-A-list characters who should be A-list with their own titles to continue their recent bout of awesome for years to come.

Is that too much to ask?

Pages from the time Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr guest-star in a Superman book and were acting all crazy. As I recall Mary made a sandwich out of shingles and ate it(her mouth, throat and stomach as invulnerable as the rest of her.

Most of them acting crazy and if there's room the page where Superman says Shazam.

I am SO out of touch with this place. I would like to see:

European comics, especially DIABOLIK or the original BARBARELLA.

Mexican comics or those 'fumetti', captioned photos of actors in costume

Some Joe Maneely BLACK KNIGHT. Harold Foster's PRINCE VALIANT. More pre-POGO Walt Kelly.

Early PATSY WALKER and MILLIE THE MODEL.

More than anything else, Lee Elias' BLACK CAT (the Linda Turner character). I really wish I had kept those issues....

I want the balloons scene from the latest Authority run.

I want the scene where Wolverine encounters Proteus, the full trippy version, since it's missing from Essential X-men for some reason.

I want that cracky Ultimate Spiderman story where he swaps bodies with Wolverine.

I want anything including Deadpool or the Human Torch.

I'd love to see scans of Captain America and Bucky. Just read Brubaker's run and I'm curious as to how their relationship was shown.

Also any Invaders scans anyone would be willing to put up.

I'd like to see some scans from the short lived series DC series Chase (the same character that would later appear in Manhunter). I've been thinking of getting them, and would like to see a little bit from the series first. I don't remember it being posted on the originals SD...

I like this idea. I haven't posted in ages, and fulfilling somebody's request might give me that warm-n-happy feeling.


That being said, I can't think of anything right now I'd like to see, although anything involving cross dressing (male to female or female to male) always interests me. Especially Jimmy Olsen.

1. Kyle (GL) from DCU Halloween Special (2008)

2. Some from the Kurt Busiek Earth-3 story from JLA Secret Origins 2004 (Enigma's first appearance)

3. I saw in the preview for X-Men: Kingbreaker #4 that Raza was possessed by the symbiote. Can anyone post how this happened in #3 and what happened to Raza in #4 (He isn't in WOKs)

4. Anything with Woodrue (Floronic Man) from Swamp Thing 166-169 by Millar (these issues are impossible to find!

5. I totally can picture it in my mind's eye but my issue of What If? 34 (Vol. 1) is buried in my mom's attic. I would love to see The two page 'Pet Avengers': What is Howard the Duck formed a super-team? The idea is Downright Crazy!
