Huh, but who's Robin there? And if it's Tim, have they revealled that the death in Battle of the Cowl that the writers etc. mentioned WON'T be Tim despite being stabbed in the chest with a batarang by Jason Todd.

	Oh, also I added the char: batgirl iii/cassandra cain tag, as that's the one that has the most uses so far. I guess one could debate about whether or not Cass is really Batgirl #2 or #3 and whether or not Helena wearing the suit in NML counts as being Batgirl or not...but whatever works. 	Yeah... I got nothing. Here's hoping that the characters manage to come out of this mess relatively unscathed. (Especially Jason, because I doubt the character can afford much more of a beating.) (Reply to this) (Thread)

Frankly, at this point I think Jason is beyond salvation.

It makes me so sad to type those words, you have no idea. I loved Jason in Under The Hood and Winick's issues in general with every cell of my fangirl heart. I loved him as Robin in the old Batman issues, and I could never for the life of me understand why people voted to kill him. He was my favourite character.

But now... After the abominable Jones' run on Nightwing, and the atrocious Countdown, and now even Battle For The Cowl... Poor Jay is screwed. So very screwed. It would take somebody with the skill and care of Gail Simone to rescue his character from the abyss of fail he has been dumped into, and I seriously doubt that's going to happen.

	I know the implications to it are far-fetched and horrible, but what if Red Robin is Dick? I mean, the Red Robin persona was created as his for Kingdom Come, after all. But if that Robin there is Tim (with Dick's hair?), then I can't really see him working with Jason after BftC #2. But who knows with Didio... (Reply to this)

If you look at the layouts, there's a sun above Tim-fighting-Steph's head for one of 'em. And one of the DC boarders said he had up a color cover (which he took down) where the Red Robin half of the cover was at night, and Tim-fighting-Steph was in the daylight. So I'd say Tim is still Red Robin, and this cover is a Tim-at-day and Tim-at-night sorta thing.

As for Steph, I'm glad she's appearing somewhere, but rolling my eyes at those two being even bitchier too each other. At least Steph appears to be putting up a good fight, blocking Tim's punch. I hope Yost doesn't humiliate or degrade her.

....I'm sorry, I just can't bring myself to care anymore. DC's already ruined too much of the Batfamily for me, that another one just won't change anything. Tim is unrecognisable now, an angsty hater. Dick is obsessed with posing, being overshadowed by the cowl and being all round pitiful, Steph is still herself but is getting the short straw with everything, Cass is being cast out of the Batfamily, Babs may-or-may not be Batgirl, Jason is now a total psycho and Damian is just there.

I'll still be picking up some Bat titles, but right now this whole mess is just a tangle of identity trades that DC is trying to pass off as "development", atleast it seems that way to me, and they don't realise I don't give a damn about characters who can't angsting.

Sorry for the rant, please resume chatting.

	Ok! So it will be Dick as the Bat in the main title trying to keep his Robin (Damien) under control and teach him the right way to do things while in the other title it will be other Robin (Tim) trying to teach Red Robin (Jason) the same thing. I actually like all this. (Reply to this)
