THE FAB FOUR GOES FOUR COLOR

Following is a sequence that you may not remember from the film YELLOW SUBMARINE.
Can't say with any certainty where this originated, either.
Dell/GoldKey (actually Western Studios) their primary goal was to get the licensing rights.
So this could have come from an early draft of the script, or from preliminary storyboards, or the staff could've been given a one page summary of the film and then been left alone to get the comic out by the deadline.*
Whatever the situation was, it's still an enjoyable interlude to read, and they didn't do so bad a job of mimicking Peter Max's art.

*It was not unusual for them to release TV or Movie adaptions without ever actually watching the source material first.
