Re: Why I don't like Kenpachi
To be fair, Ichigo just had two fights back to back (Uli round 1 and Grimmjaw). The dude's no Kenshin Himura. He got healed up after Uli by Orrhime for his encounter with Grimmjaw. No healing for him after that encounter, and he faces the next Espada in line.
To be fair Grimmjaw and Ichigo went down quickly given how all out they went during that fight. Also remember said Espada then fought Ichigo who gets trounced then fights a rank 3 Esapda and gets his butt handed to him only for the rug to be thrown out at the last second and the Rank 3 gets a massive power reduction again.
So said Rank 5 Espada is already weakened to a point when a very fresh combatant in Kenny who show's up. When you think of it that way the Espada didn't have a chance. He taxed himself out too much.
Also Kenny while over powered this was a clear fact even before hand. The dude took on TWO CAPTAINS during the Soul Society arc. Even more, he took them on with the eyepatch when they used bankai. So why you didn't use this example before hand surprises me.
Regardless, look at Kenny's background though. He's a dude whose been through countless battles and always has jumped in frontlines. After his fight with Ichigo he pondered the thought of training to grow more powerful by learning his sword's name.
Also by his reputation alone being a dude who is the first to jump into a fight take that into account and then you begin to realize this dude must be doing this all day long looking and finding fights then growing stronger by them if it's a worthy opponent. All he enjoys and relishes is fighting. Nothing matches that joy. When you realize that you can understand just why he's one of the most powerful of the Shinigami. The only good guys who might come close are Ichigo, the Vizards, Old Man Yama, Urahara, Yorichi, and Byakuya.
