Nowadays we look back at this period of Robin history through the lens of A Death in the Family, and the Jim Starlin characterization of Jason Todd dominates. But obviously Mike Barr wasn’t working off the same memo. He occasionally has Jason refer to the fact that Two-Face killed his father, but he doesn’t give the character the same anger issues that Starlin put front and center. It must have been a weird mix at the time.
