But seriously, I am not bashing you for writing fanfic. Have at it, and have a great time. But it's weird how your point ALWAYS seems to be that Oracle isn't some character from Reboot or Dr. Who or Spongebob or the Andy Griffith show or god knows what else you've watched recently. What is the point of that? "Supergirl isn't behaving like a character I like on a television show I enjoy!"
It's weird. I would love to talk to you about the Oracle that EXISTS. The Black Canary that ACTUALLY IS IN THE COMICS, instead of this weird fanfic mashup stuff.
And I know you do it with all the other books you love to hate, too. "Iron Man isn't a Gundam warrior!" But why not actually look at the real character and instead of judging it for not being some fanfic mashup that doesn't exist?
I know you're fun to talk to about this stuff when you are actually talking about what is actually in the comic as opposed to the fanfic. Why not just try that sometimes? Seriously, I got nothing against you. But it's impossible to respond to "This isn't like the Monk/MST3k/Power Rangers fanfic in my head!" when that has nothing to do with the real history of the characters, okay?
Just my two cents. I would love to hear you give your opinions sometime without all that weird side stuff that's got nothing to do with the comics themselves. I bet it'd be interesting and fun.
By the way, I haven't read your blog in ages...may I ask why you DO hate Fraction and his Iron Man so much? I am not an Iron Man fan and I've enjoyed what I've read of his.
