	Not positive I understand it all but I like it. This art is brutal and so perfect. And this is exactly how Castle deserved to go. Being lectured on true badassery by Wolverine. Although a mutant talkin' trash because somebody don't have super-powers sucks, I like Wolverine and don't like the Punisher so there ya go. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I just went and read on it. I have to say that this is the first take on the character I'm interested in since he was invented. Protecting the underground of New York? Why not? I'd rather see Frank stand up for the Mole Men than gun down poor people. Totally missed that this is not Wolverine, but some sort of spin-off with a dewclaw. Explains the dialogue. I think (or maybe I just hope) that this is the sort of death that actually makes an impact on a character. This is a memorable way to die, after all. That's usually the first step. Even if this particular death doesn't change, maybe it'll cause enough people to re-examine the character that he may start making some sense. Note the terminal confusion that Morrison inflicted upon Magneto, essentially separating him into two characters that used to exist side-by-side -- the lunatic murderer, and the lone prophet crying in the wilderness. If the Punisher stood for some sort of humanism (even filtered through monsters) and stopped using the most utterly nihilistic methods open to him (massacring legions of people for selling drugs, being present during a drug deal, or wearing the wrong costume), maybe I wouldn't loathe him. In writing this I researched it, and when the Punisher killed Goldbug and the Plunderer during Civil War, he murdered the two men for these crimes: attempted larceny ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldbug_%28comics%29 ) and wearing the same costume as a known felon ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plunderer ) (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Damn The Punisher must be really bad ass if he can narrate while hes....what a torso and a disembodied head? I know comic books=not reality but the emotional impact of his death would be more you know emotional if i wasn't wondering how the fuck he can still be narrating.On an unrelated note i seriously hope daken dies soon....or magically gets redeemed à la emma frost. There are so few LGBT characters in mainstream comics, that seeing daken have his own mini series and get as much hype as he does as wolverine's son AKA Evil Bisexual dude is actually painful.I mean the only well known good allainged gay characters i can think of are Wiccan and Hulkling.So can we at least get more positive gay characters before evil ones?Or at least stop mentioning his sexuality.......jeez.
