Shadows of the Empire Part II #4-6 of the Shadows of the Empire Mini. With bonus awesome the Brothers Hildebrant art from the card series.
Dial Uppers Beware!!
#4 is mostly a Boba Fett issue for the most part. It starts where #3 left off with Fett surrounded by his bounty hunter "brothers" with no escape.
"Solo" is transported aboard Bossuk's. By the time he gets to check his prize he finds the remains of the said dead hunters above. The section of the ship also goes boom thanks to an explosive planted with the bodies. Bossuk is down but not out promising as Fett escapes he'll get him.
As for Jix he gets this one page appearance, better than Vader who gets nothing this issue. Like I said they cut all the best stuff involving Vader.
#5 is more related with the book somewhat. We get the Xizor seducing Leia scene with kick to the balls later on, we also get this exchange between Vader and Jix:
As for Fett in this issue he does a system check on Slave-I and talks to Zuckuss for three pages. Utterly pointless there so I'll just skip to finale.
#6 just plows through the climax of the book it isn't funny. Guri is taken out with one smack by Leia who smacks her with an object. Xizor and Luke's gang barely have time to fight before Luke blows up the palace and then bam epic space battle with Vader arriving. Using this as the "evidence he needs" in a rather sorry scene we see Xizor looking like a baby and not get the chance to savoir his end with him all terrified at Vader's words to him. Damnit all. So why did the conclusion get rushed? So they could spent the remaining ten on Fett and they're own end (involving Vader arriving at Endor). Here's the Fett part:
During this all Fett touches down with Slave-I and not soon after the remaining bounty hunters with Bossuk in tow are looking to get that bounty.
Spiker actually survives, with he and the Swoop leader from #2-3 have they're own adventure in "the Jabba Tapes" which is post RoTJ dealing with Jabba's will (it appeared in Star Wars Galaxies). They also appear in Star War Tales taking on a rogue Dark Trooper Phase One. Jix also gets his own adventure in Star Wars Galaxies (though I forget his arc was called). I do have both in magazine format so if you want I can post some of it.
