Hmmm. I'm not familiar with this Steph character at all, so I don't know her back story and her situation with her father. Do we know Arthur is certainly her bio-daddy? Because without knowing the character, when I read
"It's a gift that keeps on taking. It's a theft that keeps on giving."
The first thing that popped into my mind was "a child is the gift that keeps on giving, thus stealing one is a theft that keeps on giving."
This of course may be proven totally wrong by someone who knows the source material better, but I thought it's at least a nifty idea.
