Voices of a Distant Star(ro)
so, as has been said multiple times, Starro's got a brand new face.



It's a very nice read, telling us all about the Star Conqueror who's taken Vril Dox's LEGION and wants his thoughts next.

among other things, we see the sheer mental power of the starfish man when he battles Despero to conquer his planet (amusingly, there's a scene where Despero tries to remove a mini-Starro from one of his soldiers.. and takes his face off in the process):




what happens to Despero next? well... hm.

not only that, but we've also got Starro Winning Friends and Influencing Sentients into his Phalanx Select-esque group:




and lastly, the story of the boy who would be Starro, once and for all solving the SO IS HE A DRONE OR WHAT deal:



see, the Starro WERE a natural species, until one day, they attacked that boy's planet.

unfortunately for them, that boy's species? a telepathic hivemind kind of species. all the desire to be not starro was transmitted across the link, and the sheer strength of that desire broke the boy free of his Starro.

(also, nice revelation on the narrator.)

and so he became a barbarian king starfish lord.



but all he really wants is love.

or heroes, either-or.

oh, and his next cunning plan? kidnap vril dox's kid, in a bid to snare the father via the bonds of family.
