See my above reply to Doop; I am still looking, though.

If it's evil of you, we'll be evil together, but there's admittedly a degree of difference, still. Misrepresenting a mortal organization or the beliefs of mortals isn't quite the same as outright blaspheming a god; it's the difference between portraying the Catholic church as a military organization dedicated to the destruction of demons as their god commanded, and straight-up writing Jesus into the story as a sword-slinging general. I mean, if you really feel one of the three largest religions in the world is going to take a lot of damage from misportrayal in a genre that never met a myth it couldn't chop into bizarre pieces and completely repurpose, you're going to be offended by both... but you have slightly more ground to stand on in the second case.
