(This theology is *also* a little wonky, but that's nothing new as far as DC Christianity goes).
Well, you kind of have to expect that when you try to combine a rather aggressively monotheistic religion like Christianity with a universe that has a number of pantheistic religions, and you don't want any of them to be entirely WRONG.
DC apparently got a fair number of complaints about misuse of Hindu theology after this story, and DC does not want to have the cultural appropriation debate over Wonder Woman.
I second the request for more information on this, if you have it.
(And is it evil of me to want to send these people issues of (pre-Islamified) Kobra, just to see their reactions to the rather thorough misuse of the concept of the Kali-Yuga?)
