They did this issue really well. I mean, as someone with a thing for WWI literature, I thought it hit the right note. Because for that war in particular, the face of evil was never the face of another soldier. It was the face of the trenches, of the bombardment, of barbed wire, of mud, of gas, of distant commanders and foolish orders. And that they put across pretty well.
