I didn't sign on to read about tragedies that don't belong to Peter and Mary Jane. If JQ shoehorned his personal drama into a narrative that millions of people have enjoyed for thirty years to make himself feel better, then he's abusing his position as Marvel's EIC. It's the epitome of self indulgence. It'd be like Judd Winick turning Wolverine into Pedro and Me. It would make no contextual sense within Wolverine's narrative.
