I would actually be pretty OK with this if he'd just said, "I'm not gonna take my mask off, m'kay?", rather than "PROMISE NOT TO LOOK AT MY FACE OMG". Because, see, the former accomplishes the necessary storytelling element (Peter doesn't want/can't afford to have Felicia know who he is; Felicia doesn't want to know), without descending into the must-not-interact-with-sex-partner territory where the latter makes its home. Mask!kink I am fine with. Flat "don't look at my face" has an incredible distancing effect, which makes it all very sterile and transaction-y.
Also, of the things in Spider-Man that might possibly interest me, Peter having meaningless (to him) sex with a bunch of interchangeably character-removed women is pretty much the rock bottom. Who wants to read this? Other than the middle-aged, never-actually-talked-to-a-woman men responsible, presumably.
