You know, penguins can't actually run very fast compared to humans. I would imagine a brief sprint would be sufficient for you to outdistance them fairly easily. And remember, most of these guys can fly, which means all they have to do is zoom up to the giddy height of, oh, let's say three meters or so above the ground, and they'll be perfectly safe from the dreaded killers in natural tuxedoes. They'd be unholy terrors in the water, I'll give them that, but on land? Get about a mile or so ahead of 'em, use whatever powers you can muster up to dig a large, concealed pit, stand on the other side and go 'nyah nyah' when they show up, they'll rush forward, and - goodbye, killer penguins.
