I've got a whole book of Memorial photography--it's fascinating. Especially the way it changes over the years, becoming more oranate and "lifelike." Or also symbolic, like one twin with the dead twin, or the cradle next to the coffin, the parents holding the child with useless medicine bottles.
The guy who collected them told me that often people will find the photos at garage sales or whatever and not realize that's what they are.
