Intro
Hello, again! This Natasha with my second character, Mordecai Roberts from the Chrestomanci Chronicles.
He's twenty-eight to the best of his knowledge, and traversing worlds isn't new to him. It was more or less his job at home as an agent of Chrestomanci, and he'll be a Field Agent in Magic when he arrives on Wednesday. He's a magician and a spirit traveler, which means he can go into a trance and send his spirit elsewhere, either in one world or to others, although the trance usually requires music. He'll be living in Tower 2 on the second floor. He's friendly and flirtatious, very fond of music, clothes and cricket, and can come off as kind of frivolous. He's also very good at what he does which is how he kept his job for as long as he did.
At the point he's coming from he'd just been caught as a double agent and a smuggler (he's very good at what he does, okay, and he also has expensive habits), and he'll be staying partly because fighting in Atlantis is much better than the prospect of prison. He also really does have a good heart underneath, and is more inclined to help than not.
Finally, for the particularly supernaturally sensitive characters, Mordecai might seem a little bit off or not quite there. He doesn't have his soul. Feel free to make assumptions as to why. He's not talking about it.
(And for those who've seen him in play before this, he can actually lie! I took him from a few hours earlier than I have before mostly because taking him from a point when his most useful skills have been restricted didn't make sense for the purposes of the game.)
Oh, yes, and Mordecai's hair is a lot lighter and curlier than Alexander Siddig's.
I want everything for him! Friends, fellow agents, neighbors, people who find him charming, people annoyed with his frivolousness, and a few people who can see through him.
He's arriving November 9.
