Hello! ::waves::
Character: Dr. Molly Hooper | Fandom: BBC Sherlock (TV) | Canon Point: "The Abominable Bride" + Breck | Birthday: October 1st, 1981 | Sexuality: Heterosexual | Status: Dating Leonard McCoy Molly was, in her home universe, one of the top forensic pathologists in her field, working at St Bartholomew Hospital, a world-renowned teaching hospital in modern day London, and assisting Scotland Yard as well as the world's only consulting detective, one Sherlock Holmes. In the course of her time assisting him, she got caught up in his game with the criminal mastermind James Moriarty and was instrumental in helping Sherlock fake his death for two years after Moriarty killed himself on the roof of the hospital. When Sherlock returned she had moved on from fancying him to being in a relationship with a more normal man named Tom, though that relationship had ended by the time Sherlock had committed the murder of a ruthless blackmailer named Charles Augustus Magnussen to save his friends. The last Molly knew, Sherlock was being escorted back to London to save the country from the threat posed by a video of Moriarty that appeared on every television screen in the United Kingdom. However, before she could be of any help, she was transported to Breckenridge, CO and found she was in an alternate universe with other people like her from other worlds. Unable to return home she began to work with the local police department and, having had time to move past the broken engagement she had left behind in London (after feeling some guilt in the matter), began a relationship with her roommate Leonard McCoy. Thankfully, both were transported to Atlantis simultaneously or she would have been royally pissed off. |
Character: Captain James Tiberius Kirk | Fandom: Star Trek (Alternate Original Series) | Canon Point: Post-"Star Trek Into Darkness" (may change before arrival) | Birthday: January 4th, 2233 | Sexuality: Heterosexual | Status: Single First off, James T. Kirk is going to love all things geeky and sci-fi, because he is a giant nerd. He hides it well under coolness and suaveness, but he is a GIANT NERD. So remember this, all of you. Now then. Kirk is the son of a legend, a guy whose father saved thousands of lives by sacrificing himself the day he was born. It's given him issues, which he spent an entire two hours showing us by being a damn lucky bastard. And then for another two hours, we saw what happened when he got used, trusted the wrong people and the luck ran out. He may come from a time after that before the next chapter in his life or possibly from his next set of adventures we see as soon as I get my hands on "Beyond." Either way, he is coming off of having his world be shattered in a sense, and having to pick up pieces and reevaluate things. He will still be charming, still flirt, still crack a joke, but he's not going to be "Mr. Stud of the Universe." His primary concern is going to be what members of his crew are here, and the people that will eventually become the members of his new family, whoever they will be. His second priority will be anyone he's in charge of. And then? Then he'll make time for fun. Because he learned, the very very hard way, that good looks and charm and luck only get you so far. |
