Link moved his way towards the common area, the place he and Susan had agreed to meet. The young woman was going through a lot, with the loss of her family, something that made him feel rather guilty about considering his complaint of being lonely the day before. He was used to being alone, after all, his complaint was mostly unfounded. Her? She had a big, sprawling family it seemed, and he got the sense that she was very close with her brothers so the loss had to be doubly difficult on her. He realized he'd been selfish in his worrying about being lonely, people had it far worse and Link needed to be less vocal about such things.
Still, he was glad to hopefully help with the walk, hoping it might help at least calm some of the nerves she was feeling from the sudden departures. Plus he liked Susan, she was friendly, and had a wit that sometimes surprised the rather loner-mentality of the naive Link. He was glad to have a friend like her on the surface of Atlantis, and was hoping he could help in some significant way, or even a little bit of a way. He wasn't sure he could, but he'd try. This wasn't like back home, where the help he provided was a sword, shield, and taking on some horrific monster to make the world a better place. This was more personal, more real, and it was far more difficult a task too.
Dressed in a green t-shirt, clear of any graphics, and a pair of jeans Link almost looked normal in his clothing than the usual tunic and tights he wore. He was trying to adapt, it was obvious, though the constant adjusting of his clothing suggested a level of discomfort in it all. Lifting a hand, he did brush out some of the rather long blond locks he had, free of his face and blue eyes, tucking them behind pointy ears, and began to look around for Susan.
