Regina Mills + Fred Burkle + Hood-Mills Kids

Since the moment that they’d all woken she’d had to hear various whining renditions of “can we go now?,” “Is it time yet?,” and “mama please.” At one point she even swore that they’d managed to get their baby sister to assist them. So, by the time they did leave Regina was close to locking them all in a room.
Had there not been a commotion outside earlier in the day they might have gone sooner. It certainly would have relieved her of the headache their whining had caused. But Regina had wanted to make sure that what ever it was had long been resolved. Because her boys were curious enough and didn’t need anything to fuel their curiosity.
“Roland stand closer to the stroller. Xavier hold onto your brother’s hand or you will also be in the stroller” Regina said once they were finally outdoors and began their stroll through Atlantis. Though she really shouldn’t have bothered. Because not a minute later they’d caught sight of what looked to be a black cat and ran over to it. Thankfully the cat was directly in front of them and didn’t appear to be moving so she quickly caught up with them.
Once she was close enough, Xavier looked up at her and said, “Mama. Look. Kitty.” She knew that he missed Lys and Rayna, as a part of her did too, which is why the anger she felt over being ignored dimmed ever so slightly.
“Yes, monkey, kitty. But didn’t we talk about you not running away from mama?,” said Regina. And though it was said directly to her middle child it was also meant for her oldest. When both boys nodded she added, “This is your only warning. If either of you do it again it will be no dessert or playtime tonight. You’ll go straight to bed.”
