Lily Potter + Harry Potter
Possible Discussions of Death|Incomplete
Lily had been so happy to have these opportunities to get to see her son, especially now she knew that Harry was going to lose those chances with his parents very soon in her time. However, as great as it was to spend time as a family, Lily was rather eager to take a moment with her son without her husband along for the ride. She often wondered if there were things Harry didn't ask her about due to James being there when they talked. Maybe there were aspects of her life that James wasn't too happy about, such as her past before her relationship with James, that Harry might be curious about. Also, given how much her sister and her brother-in-law had not exactly helped with Harry's upbringing, Lily felt rather willing to try and convince her son that her sister wasn't always so...unmanageable.
So Lily made dinner. The chance to have some mother/son bonding time. She wasn't exactly the best cook, but she could manage some basic spaghetti, though she knew that even that would get raised eyebrows from James had he known she was trying to cook for their son. She had various choices to drink, alcoholic and non, and she just waited for him. The food was just about ready and she eagerly awaited the knock of the door, with a glass of wine in hand, and an anxious eye over the nearly food.
