Challenge Post
Early this morning, Paige had the urge to paint. The problem with that was, Paige didn't have paints or anything at the apartment. That, of course, meant that she had to stop at an art store at some point today... Of course, that "some point" meant some point after school was over. Which meant that she had to wait until she went through all of her appointments, all her surprises, all her surprise mini meetings with the faculty... and for that last bell to ring so she could start getting her things together and get the hell out of dodge. Sometimes Paige was pretty sure she was more anxious for the day to end than the students were. As soon as she was able to, however, Paige made her way home to change and put up anything to do with work, then headed back out into town again with an umbrella to check out everything the art shop had. She had so many things in mind after she awoke this morning. Different ideas ran through at frightening speeds, and, honestly, she could only attribute that to this place. It was supposed to be the home of creativity, after all. Right? Of course, a trip to the art store when inspired was kind of like going to the grocery store when one was hungry. One always bought more than what was needed... which is exactly what Paige did. By the time she walked out, it was with armfuls of bags and, wouldn't you know it, straight into someone's very physical body. Art supplies went flying and Paige found herself ass to asphalt. "Ooh... damn. Okay, that was unexpected. Ah am so sorry. Ah didn't even see you there." When she came face to face with the person she bumped into, it was like looking at a very human Clarice Ferguson (or rather, Fong). And both of them definitely had paint on them. She wasn't sure how, but wouldn't that figure? "How in tha world did that happen?" she questioned herself. At least the rain was starting to wash it away already. |
