Unexpected Company
JUNE 8 | 12:00 PM

School was still a drag. There was so much more out there than just this place, and while Erica knew that there were things she needed to know, she also knew that there were bigger things out in the world she could be learning. School was just... school. Where was she going to use any of this, other than learning about Atlantis. And, well, okay, the meditation and yoga were doing wonders for her control... even if she still had yet to learn what her anchor was. She was trying to learn how to be her own anchor. If she could accomplish that, then nothing could stop her. Especially not the full moon and her animalistic tendencies when it rolled out. It was quite irritating and kind of like a second period... which no woman deserved (except maybe an Argent). She had to admit, while school was a drag, Fridays weren't so bad. She had her most interesting courses on Fridays, and no training afterwards. Meditation and Demonology were doing great things for her peace and intelligence. And yoga? She was getting pretty damn flexible and rested after her last class of the day. She could only imagine the different ways that could come in handy. Then, since she had the last class of the day off for training purposes during the week, she didn't have anything at all to do after yoga, which meant she could go home and enjoy whatever the hell she wanted to. For the moment, however, she was still stuck. But, at least it was time for lunch. Which was why she was perched on a table outside under an awning, legs kicked up onto it, leaning against the wall behind her and munching down on an apple while the rest of her food was sitting next to her feet until she decided to start on the next thing on the tray. The blonde was thinking maybe either the pizza slice or the applesauce. She didn't know yet. What she didn't expect was the company that suddenly showed up at her table, despite the rain around them. This was a first. "Um... hey?" she questioned, raising an eyebrow in question. This was the first time since she arrived here that she had company for lunch. |
