Hi there, everyone! It's been a slow night, so I figured I'd pop over here now that she's all apped.

This is Chelan Rousseau, 34, a pediatric nurse practitioner who will be working at Memorial Health hospital. She's brand new to the Savannah area, and she moved here with her best friend/platonic soulmate/roomie

owenburke. She's originally from Baton Rouge, LA, and is part Cajun, part Native American. In general, Chel is very much an extrovert (ESTP), although she's been dealing with the recent loss of her love from about six months ago, so she may be somewhat more reserved than normal as she learns her way around the city. She's also friends with

alexreuble, though they'd drifted some in recent history. Still, she adores him.

I'm open to pretty much anything lines wise - if there are any others in the medical field that could potentially be coworkers, or people that may live in the same neighborhood that she and Owen are renting a house in, anyone who'd love a filter-less but super loyal friend (who frequently switches back and forth into her French/Cajun dialect). I tend to prefer organic lines when it comes to potential romances, but Chel is a flirt, and even though she's steering through grief right now, she uses that ability to charm people as kind of a crutch, so anyone that wants to flirt could be fun, too (she's equal opportunity when it comes to flirting)

Haha aww. That's .. probably somewhat fair. Alex is like family to Chel, even though they'd drifted a bit recently. So, on the one hand, she's going to be thrilled that Alex is happy and has someone that treats him right .. and if/when she finds out who the boyfriend is, I'm sure she'd think Gabe is cute.

That said, Owen is basically Chel's other half, on a mostly platonic level. He's her rock and her savior - he's always been there for her, always chosen/protected her. And she will always choose/defend him. But where Alex is concerned, it's a balancing act, since she loves them both and she understands where each of them is coming from.

The tl;dr: Chel is glad Alex has someone who makes him happy, and she's likely to like Gabe whenever she learns who he is, so long as it's never directly in conflict with protecting Owen's heart.

	he can definitely appreciate her loyalty as a friend. obviously he's 1000% team alex, so as long as owen isn't perceived as hurting him by gabe, he can be civil enough. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	haha. I think being 10000% team alex is likely something they all agree on. obviously alex is feeling hurt with how things ended with owen before, but even owen would be on team alex, I think. alex is a pretty special guy. :) (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	this is maddox, she is an er nurse at memorial health. she is 34 and though she lost her husband 5 years ago she's still sort of navigating her way through it. (Reply to this) (Thread)

YAY! Another nurse!! I took a quick look at her bio - I think Maddox and Chel would probably get along great (cause, ew, avocado). Loss of a loved one is a sad parallel, but in some ways it's a .. badge of honor, for lack of a better term. It's something no compassionate person would ever wish on anyone else, and yet there's a certain solidarity that comes from sharing that. But, perhaps they can run into each other randomly at the hospital and strike up conversations from there?

	this is kadence she's friends with alexreuble. she's 27, a bartender and cosmetology student. she hasn't had the easiest life so she has a bit of sass to her. she is married to braxtondawson. (Reply to this) (Thread)

There's not a whole lot Chelan likes more than sass :D I think her being friends with Alex already makes her good people in Chel's eyes. They're a few years apart, but that's never stopped Chel from befriending people. And, since she doesn't keep liquor in the house anymore (solidarity for her bff), she likely will venture out to the bar every so often. They can even compare drink mixing techniques, haha. Chel bartended throughout college, so I'm sure these two could get up to fun conversations/shenanigans.

Hi hi, welcome.

This is Riley he's friends with Gabe and by extension Alex. He'd appreciate that Alex has another friend but on the other end makes eyebrows at Owen for all that he's caused Alex. He's friendly in general though so he might get along easily with her.

noeelle is Alex's new bestie and protecteur puissant. So she'd like anybody that gets along with Alex. Except Owen. He's enemy number one until Alex says otherwise and even then, he gets the side eye.

that's okay! i'm late in coming back around to this post, so it all works out ;)

chel adores alex, so she's likely to be nice to everyone that he's befriended, so long as none of them actively come for owen while she's around. she understands alex's hurt, but owen's also pretty much the other half of her heart and soul on a platonic level. he's been her rock - pretty much since they became bffs but especially these last few months dealing with the loss of her girlfriend/actual soulmate, so she's definitely protective of the two people that knew rei and that she already loved. but that's a really tired/long-winded way of saying .. she'll most likely be nice to both riley and noeelle until they give her a reason not to be.
