Who: Megan Jones and Claire Runcorn
When: One hours before curfew, Day One.
Where: By the lake, for starts.

Claire stretched her long arms as she was finally let out of the Great Hall after the welcoming speech. Honestly, McGonagal must just like to hear herself talk. There was no reason besides that why the lady would need to keep them in there as long as she had besides just for her own sadistic pleasure.
Finally free, Claire decided to go back up to the Slytherin dorms for a bit. Walking in, she ignored most of the girls, she found most of them to be too stuck up and boring, worried about how people viewed them instead of having a good time.
Once she had entered her room, she threw the journal that McGonagal had given them all and she had already done her duty of writing in it and went to her trunk and opened it, moving the piles of clothes to the bottom. Grinning, she took out her flask and bottle of firewhiskey and double checked how much she had left and how long it would last her until she'd need to get some more. Deciding she had just enough to last until their first trip to Hogsmead, she took a quick swig before replacing them.
Closing her trunk, she stood up and, after patting her breast pocket for her pack of fags, she grabbed her jacket, checking the pockets of that for her silver muggle zippo (the flames from a real lighter made the smoke taste so much better that the flames from a spell) she slipped it on and quickly left the dull dormitory.
Figuring she could probably find Megan near the lake, either there or the Astronomy tower, she headed in that direction. Soon, she saw the brunette leaning against a tree and grinned on her way over.
"Hey stranger." she grinned once she reached the Hufflepuff. "How've you been?"
