Why was he bringing this up? Her brain was trying to stay steps ahead of his own thinking, but she found that she just couldn't project on him. He was too illogical for her to predict with any accuracy. She watched him folding the label and thought it an odd and uncharacteristic action. She didn't know what that meant but it made her anxious.
