Who: Wanda and Victor
What: Horror Anthology: A mysterious ship docks and beckons you inside where ghosts and monsters await.
When: Tonight
Where: The boat yard
Warnings: Spooky skeletons~
The night felt hot even though the air outside was cool enough to shiver. Wanda rolled in her bed, her hair damp with sweat, her black nightgown feeling as if it was suffocating her body. Wanda was dreaming but tonight her dreams were being plagued by nightmares or maybe they were the nightmares of someone else? Wanda couldn't tell the difference but she was there, stuck in the middle, her mind feeling as if it was about to detonate. She did her best to come back from it but there was something beckoning her mind the moment she attempted to separate herself. It was like a beacon that shined and Wanda couldn't help but follow it. She wanted to touch it and to be near it because it's light felt so wonderful against her exposed flesh.
Wanda didn't seem to care about her near lack of clothing as she walked. Wanda felt like she was walking forever until her mind started to rattle at her. It was warning her that the outside had changed. The Scarlet Witch was no longer in the comfort of her own bed but rather she was walking along the boardwalk, the weather chilly as fog began to roll in from the waterfront. Before Wanda realized it she was standing in front of the boat yard, the blackness blowing out a chilly gust of wind as Wanda crossed her arms, dark hair whipping around her as she saw a rather large ship coming to dock.
There was an eerie sense to everything as Wanda couldn't bring herself to move or leave. There was something enthralling about the old boat as she stepped forward, her movements careful as she boarded the ship as if she was nothing more than its waiting passenger. Wanda shuddered as the air seemed to frost the moment she came up onto the deck. There was nobody around. Not a single person was waiting although it felt like there were about a hundred or so eyes staring at her.
"Hello?" Wanda called out to the unknown. There was no reply. Nothing but the wind and the rock of the sea. The boat was swaying and Wanda with it and for a moment there was an odd sense of peace until Wanda felt the temperature around her drop to freezing.
She saw her own breathe and then she saw them - pirates. Dead pirates who were nothing now but ghostly forms of their original selves. Wanda could see right through them and they all lined up. An entire party of of them, all of them smiling crookedly as they approached her.
