"Ed." She gave him a slight nod before giving him a quick smile. They were clearly going to get along a little better now. Fighting whatever they were most likely going to fight had a way of bringing people together. Well, that and the fact he just melted the doorknob. There was no way she was going to make enemies with someone that melted things with his hands. She knew of alchemy, but had never seen it actually in use. That type of thing was normally in her video games or anime episodes. Salem really was a strange place.
The kitsune followed after Ed and paused at the last stair. Darkness. There was darkness everywhere. She frowned as she tried not to get sick or something. Her foot finally stepped off the step and she regretted all and any life decisions. She could smell the death and her fox stirred harder.
"Shit," she breathed out as Ed raised the torch and the light seemed to cling to the corpses. The sight was gruesome and made her feel unclean in her soul. She had seen death before, but not on this level. The scene around them was something out of a horror movie, no, a gore movie. The movies certainly got how unreal the bodies looked, but they could never get the soulless look right. All those bodies and all that life gone. Kira tried to keep herself calm, but the sparks started appearing along her fingers. At this rate she was going to lose control and things could get dicey for both of them.
"We need to find the bastard and end him." Before I lose control... It was really hard to think of waves when all she could smell was death.
She should have texted Scott. She should have texted anyone in the pack. Well, too late now. They were just going to have to learn about this later. Not like the pack wasn't dealing with enough already. Right, focus Kira. Time to not get either of them killed.
"The feeling is surrounding me, I can't..." She didn't know how far or how close the danger was. It was just all around them.
